One of the major reasons missionaries come home from the field is the inability to get along with other missionaries. This workshop, developed by Dr. Ken Williams (WBT), is designed to teach and reinforce the skills of effective interpersonal relationships as well as to challenge the student to personal growth. Issues discussed—from a thoroughly Biblical perspective—include building trust, listening and communication skills, giving and receiving confrontation, living in community, managing stress, maintaining margin, being an encourager, etc. Attention is also given to identifying the interpersonal skills appropriate to the target culture. Facilitators: Jim Head (World Team) Patti Mobley (CIT), Dr. George Schultz (CIT) Kathy Schultz (CIT), Tim Wagner (CrossWorld) |
