The seminar seeks to identify the characteristics of effective teams and team leadership. While the concept of "team" is popular in missions today, one of the highest named causes of missionary attrition is interpersonal conflict on teams. Participants are provided a context for self-evaluation regarding their own expectations and preparedness for team ministry, including capabilities as followers and leaders. A variety of interactive learning activities is used to help the participant process the week's course content.
