ABOUT CIT

CIT, which started with one student in 1989, has consistently had one goal in mind: to train and equip missionaries and other Christian professionals for cross-cultural living and ministry. Due to the high attrition of first term missionaries, CIT, which today is a growing Partnership among many churches and agencies, strives to meet the emotional, spiritual and family needs of their students so they will not only survive in a cross-cultural setting, but will truly thrive in a different cultural environment.

Being able to cope cross-culturally is only half of the goal of missionary training. CIT exists so that missionaries and other cross-cultural workers will be effective in their service for Christ. To accomplish the task that God has called us to do is the ultimate purpose for training.
