Kid's Korner

Because CIT believes that field preparation is imperative for both husband and wife, we are committed to providing quality training and care for our trainees with children. (Click on the title below for even more information on these two programs.)

KIT (Kid's Intercultural Training): A successful transition—even for children—is critical for a family's successful and effective ministry overseas. KIT is designed to enjoyably introduce children to some of the issues they will face when entering a new culture. KIT accompanies Equipping for Cross-Cultural Life & Ministry, Second Language Acquisition, and the Summer Culture Intensive (minimum enrollment required). CIT Childcare: We realize that childcare can never take the place of a parent. Nevertheless, it is our goal that each child placed in our care find their experience an enjoyable one. We strive to operate our childcare in such a manner so as to free parents to focus fully on their training while at the same time adding as little extra stress on their families as possible. It is our experience that if the children are well cared for, the parents are more adequately trained! Click here for more information on our childcare program.
